Overview:
Detroit Garment Group, in partnership with Pure Michigan Business Connect and Taubman, hosted a fashion conference, trade show & market at Twelve Oaks Mall in Novi 2019. The goals were a sold-out, organized, efficient event that was easy to attend and shop.
I created all materials for the event including the press release, media advisory, floor plan, event directory, run of show, market rules, signage, flyers, t-shirt graphic and event guide. In addition, I handled the social media strategy and posts to raise awareness for people in the fashion industry to attend the conference, as well as for fashion businesses to participate in the trade show, and the general public to attend and shop. Finally, I secured all sponsors for the event, set up and managed ticketing, secured press coverage and handled the run of show on site.
